This year’s conference theme is centering the Social Justice work in the Drama Therapy field. We aim to explore and expand upon social justice work by:

  • Examining past approaches
  • Presenting current research and techniques
  • Cultivating and strengthening our knowledge by presenting new approaches

We want to know how drama therapists utilize a Social Justice lens in their practice.

  • How are we expanding upon current approaches to highlight social justice work and experience?
  • How have we put social justice in the forefront of our practice?
  • How do we continue?
  • What are some new adaptations and implementations of current/past approaches that increase inclusivity in the work?
  • How do we continue to cultivate inclusivity to strengthen the field of DT together?
  • What does the DT field need more of? How do we make it happen?
